Warranty Policy for Semi Smart Induction Cooktop

  1. Warranty Coverage and Duration

    1. Coverage Period: The Semi Intelligent  Induction Cooktop ("Product") is covered under warranty for a period of one [1] year from the date of delivery of the Product, offering repair or replacement for any defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use.

    2. Scope of Warranty: This warranty specifically covers failures due to manufacturing defects.

    3. Geographic Limitation: The warranty is enforceable only within India. Usage of the Product in other countries voids this warranty, categorizing the Product as out of warranty.

  2. Non-Transferable: The warranty benefits are strictly limited to the first purchaser and cannot be transferred to subsequent owners.

  3. Exclusions from Warranty Coverage

    1. Accidental and Misuse Exclusions: The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, abuse, accidents, unauthorized repairs, or environmental disasters.

    2. Accessory Use: Issues arising from the use of non-compatible accessories or cookware are not covered under this warranty.

    3. Normal Wear and Tear: This warranty does not cover cosmetic damages such as scratches, dents, or the natural degradation, wear, and tear over time.

    4. Environmental and Installation Issues: Damages resulting from improper installation, wrong line voltages, improper wiring, or inadequate ventilation are excluded.

    5. Unauthorized Modifications: Any modifications made to the Product without Futuristic Labs’ explicit written approval will void this warranty.

    6. Serial Number Tampering: Warranty is void if the product's serial number has been altered, tampered with, or removed.

  4. Claim Process

    1. Initiating a Claim: To initiate a warranty claim, contact Futuristic Labs      Customer Support via phone or email. Valid proof of purchase and adherence to registration requirements are necessary.

    2. Documentation Required: Customers must provide the original sales receipt or order confirmation as proof of purchase. Futuristic Labs reserves the right to request additional documentation to verify the claim.

    3. Service Options: Futuristic Labs at its sole discretion may repair the Product, replace it with a new or refurbished unit, or supply necessary parts depending on the defect and availability.

    4. Cost of Service: Customers will be responsible for costs related to parts, labour, and shipping if the Product is outside the warranty coverage or if the claim is deemed invalid.

    5. Service Request Protocol: Before requesting service, customers are advised to refer to the accompanying documentation and online resources. If the issue persists, they should follow the guided process outlined by Futuristic Labs.

  5. On-site Warranty Service:

    1. Availability: On-site warranty services are available only in select cities, currently including Hyderabad, and are subject to change based on Futuristic Labs' service network expansion.

    2. Scope: On-site services cover only specific types of repairs or maintenance that can be managed within the comfort of your home, primarily involving straightforward hardware issues that do not require complex diagnostics or specialized equipment.

    3. Procedure: To avail on-site services, customers must contact Futuristic Labs’ Customer Support to schedule a visit. Confirmation of on-site service availability will be provided based on the customer’s location and the nature of the issue.

    4. Limitations: On-site services do not include repairs that involve detailed diagnostics, part replacements that require workshop tools, or issues deemed by Futuristic Labs to be too complex to be resolved on-site. Such cases may require off-site attention.

  6. Off-site Warranty Service:

    1. Scope: Off-site services are required for more complex issues or when on-site service is not available, including but not limited to deep technical faults, major electronic failures, or when specialized diagnostic equipment is needed.

    2. Transportation: Customers are responsible for safely packaging the Product in the original packaging condition and sending the defective product to Futuristic Labs      designated service center, unless stated otherwise. In certain cases, Futuristic Labs may arrange for pickup of the product, the availability and cost of which will be communicated at the time of service request. If warranty claim is accepted, Futuristic Labs will cover the shipping cost. If warranty claim is rejected, Customer must pay for the transport, service charge and part cost. 

    3. Process: After receiving the product, Futuristic Labs will conduct a thorough evaluation to diagnose and repair the issue. The customer will be informed of the repair timeline and any potential costs if the repair is not covered under warranty.

    4. Return: Once repaired, the product will be shipped back to the customer, ensuring the product is returned in good working condition.

  7. General Provisions for Warranty Services

    1. Scheduling: All warranty services, whether on-site or off-site, must be scheduled in advance through Futuristic Labs’ Customer Support. Unscheduled requests may lead to delays.

    2. Documentation: Proof of purchase and compliance with the warranty registration requirements are mandatory to avail of any warranty service.

    3. Exclusions: Both on-site and off-site services exclude issues arising from unauthorized modifications, misuse as defined in the warranty exclusions, or when the product is used in non-target countries.

    4. Coverage During Repair: The Warranty period will not be extended due to time taken for repairs/replacements of parts, technical breakdowns, or transit times, whether under this Warranty or otherwise.

  8. Customer Responsibilities

    1. Maintenance and Use: Customers are expected to maintain and use the cooktop according to the provided instructions in the User Terms and Conditions of the      Futuristic Labs.

    2. Upon Receipt: Upon receiving the product, the user must inspect the Product for any missing parts, accessories, faults, or defects. Any issues should be reported within seven (7) days      of delivery to qualify for immediate service or potential refunds.

    3. Reporting Issues: Any operational defects or issues must be reported within seven (7) days      of delivery to qualify for "Dead on Arrival" refunds or immediate service.

  9. Limitations of Liability

    1. General Limitations: Futuristic Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Product.

    2. Specific Limitations: The warranty explicitly excludes coverage for the breakage of glass panels and damages arising from negligence or mishandling.

  10. Legal Rights

    1. Consumer Protection: This warranty affords you specific legal rights, and you may also possess other rights which vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction.

    2. Jurisdictional Variations: Some jurisdictions do not permit limitations on the duration of an implied warranty or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so such limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
